beach

I had an amazing day yesterday. The sun was shining and it was nice enough to spend some time at the beach. This particular beach has a fantastic view of the San Francisco skyline along with the bay bridge. It was soul soothing. The kids were in heaven getting out of the house and running around to their hearts content.

After my little pity party on Friday, which you can tell from my last post, I needed this day at the beach. I feel balanced. Funny how life has a way of doing this when you least expect it.

I haven't been around for a few days, and I'm sorry you felt like that. You're right about that balance... ups and downs, highs and lows - all part of this journey, at least for most of us. And for what it's worth, you come across to me as someone who is wonderfully positive, and very "balanced". I find your personality very attractive (and you have a cute bum, of course).

Maybe it was just a rough day.

Nothing like a change of pace, getting the feel of the world around us, and not just the one we carry with us, to open the perspectives and free the mind. always helps to restore my energy and re-focus my mind.

wdky - Thank you and yes, it was a bad day. I hate to wallow in self pity.

Art - Yes, a change of pace was exactly what I needed. Now I need to work on a permanent change...

I've been feeling a little unbalanced myself lately. I'm glad that your day at the beach provided soothing for your soul when you least expected it.
